Ms. Velma Banks is a Social Work educator and developer of creative problem-solving models.
She received her Master of Social Work degree from Atlanta University School of Social Work, and also studied at New York University, the University of Wisconsin and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her extensive travels in the United States, Europe and Africa broadened her perspective in research development and training.
She is a designer of alternative modalities for social work intervention and problem solving and conducts training workshops and seminars for social workers, parents, teachers and students.
